Pan-3D Genome: Assumption and Practice
Feburatry 2023
  • High-order chromatin structure plays important roles in gene regulation. However, the diversity of the 3D genome across plant accessions are seldom reported. Here, we performed the pan-3D genome analysis using 27 soybean accessions and comprehensively investigated the relationships between 3D genomic variations and SVs as well as gene expression. This poster presented in the 2023 PCCE Conference describe the pipeline and results of pan-3D genome analysis across plant accessions.

How Transposons Reshape Genome Structure and Gene Expression in a 3D Genomic Scope
July 2022
  • Waves of expansion and contraction in numbers of TEs can result in dramatic differentiations in the overall architecture of the genomes of even closely related plant species, which represent a rich and constantly changing pool of genetic and epigenetic variation on which selection can operate. In plants, with several suggestive examples present the regulatory effect of TE insertions, little is known about the role of TEs in higher-order chromatin structure. At the 2022 PCCE Conference, I was invited to give an oral presentation on “How Transposons Reshape Genome Structure and Gene Expression in a 3D Genomic Scope”.
